Offering
The company’s core mission is to do no harm and benefit others. We hope that our offering of intentional products inspires those who are open to the possibility of living an intentional life. We believe this begins with simple gestures. It is in the offering where the joy or chocolate of life resides. We endeavor to model this vision by taking one step at a time to support continued scientific research in this field and at the same time support individuals who are demonstrating the power of living intentionally through building community and events for the benefit of others.
Our first Gesture
10% of the net proceeds from the sales of Intentional Chocolate™ will be donated to the Deer Park Buddhist Center and Monastery who played a key role in experiments and studies conducted. “We want to support the Dalai Lama’s vision of creating a center at Deer Park to facilitate dialogue between Eastern and Western disciplines. The Eastern tradition has a rich technology of the mind while Western science excels at the technology of matter. Bringing them together is a true mind matter interaction,” says Jim Walsh, Founder of the Intentional Chocolate™ Company. Helping support Deer Park will assist in making the Dalai Lama’s vision a reality leading to many more innovations and joint projects.”
We invite customers to make suggestions for future projects that pass forward our intention. Please email us at store@intentionalchocolate.com.

Deer Park - A vision for a learning center that facilitates interchange between East and West
“Originally Geshe Sopa is the one person who worked hard for the creation of this sort of center. This new building is almost complete, so I admire his will power and determination.
The site can be a place where different traditions are discussed and explored, including seminars on Buddhist science, spirituality and modern science in general. Deer Park can be a learning center not just a Buddhist center. The important work for the foundation now is to think how to use the facility for the promotion of human awareness regarding different themes. Namely the promotion and some research of our inner value in a scientific way. This vision should include a small monastery for 4 – 8 monks. This would establish a possibility of performing the older Buddhist rites. This and a center for academics. That should be our dream.”
